This pair of Ornate Ghost Pipefish (Solenostomus paradoxus) was found in the Solomon Islands in a year when Pipefish were readily found. Note how closely these animals match their surrounding. While difficult to discern over the web, the actual slide is easier to pick out the animals. Photo was taken in with a Nikonos RS, 50 mm lens and tele-extender.
